Our data centres

Bytemark's offices and datacentres, the technical hub of our operation, are located in York and Manchester. We have our very own datacentre in York, several cages in Manchester and also connectivity down to our presence in London.

Our first wholly owned datacentre, located in Nether Poppleton, York

YO26 is our new datacentre in York. YO26 has been designed and built completely to our own technical specifications and business requirements. We control every single aspect of the service – from the land, to the power, network and servers. Download a PDF of YO26 specifications.

Manchester

Reynolds House, Telecity Group

Reynolds, in Manchester

Reynolds' hosts our core network and many servers.

Our main hosting location is in Manchester where we have three cages full of servers and core network. The cages are on opposite sides of the building's central bridge, with key pieces of networking equipment and incoming cabling split to ensure maximum redundancy within the site.

“Thank you so much for all your help with the server. We handled 6 times our normal traffic with absolutely no slowdown. I really appreciate all the help and advice you guys gave at such short notice and how quickly you got the new server going. Could have been a bit of a disaster without it! I'll most definitely be recommending you to anyone who's looking for hosting in the future.”
