Pay-as-you-go broadband through Bytemark
Bytemark are offering ADSL connections based on BT’s IPStream Max product line—this is their new DSL service which offers 8Mb download speeds and 832Kb upload speeds depending on the product chosen and your phone line.
Our connections are unfiltered, uncapped and have static IP addresses so you are free to use the full bandwidth of your lines without any limitations.
You can choose either Lite, Home, Office or Office+ depending on the quality of line you require, and then pay for excess traffic as you use it – packages have a variable quota of data transfer per month, and each additional gigabyte costs £2.50. You’ll be warned by email of any excess usage.
Please note The actual speed will depend on the quality and length of the telephone line between your premises and the telephone exchange and cannot be reliably determined until 10 days after the line has been in use.
Lite: speedy and low-cost (Order…)
Lite connections cost only £15.00 per month and will reach up to 8Mb downstream, and 448Kb/s upstream.
Lite connections may transfer up to 2GB free of charge each month.
Home: for more frequent downloaders (Order…)
Lite connections cost only £25.00 per month and will reach up to 8Mb downstream, and 448Kb/s upstream.
Home connections may transfer up to 10GB free of charge each month.
Office: faster uploads, less contention (Order…)
Office connections cost £35.00 per month and have nearly double the upload speed at 832Kb. Additionally, BT allocate Office lines a lower contention ratio from their exchanges, meaning that Office users will have a larger share of available bandwidth when there is contention.
Office connections may transfer up to 15GB free of charge each month.
Office+: with BT Enhanced Care (Order…)
The Office+ package (priced at £59.00 per month) has the same specification as the Office line, but also includes BT’s Enhanced Care package. This guarantees faster response times in case of problems affecting your line.
The targeted BT response time for problems without Enhanced Care is 40 working hours – with Office+ they treat problems with a higher priority and reduce this to 20 hours.
