Single Sign-on Services

Shortly after you’ve signed up with Bytemark you’ll be emailed a “single
sign-on” username and password which is intended to identify you personally to
our systems. This is a different login from the one you use for your hosting,
and is becoming increasingly important as we develop our services.

Control Panel

The control panel allows you to update your contact details, manage any credit
card details you might wish to store, and renew your domains.

Forums

Using the single sign-on details you may post to the Bytemark
Forums
. These forums allow you to ask for help,
or leave feedback, to other Bytemark Customers.

Chat Server

You can chat to
many members of the Bytemark team on our chat server once you have your single
sign-on details
.

Using your favourite XMPP (Jabber)
client, just log in to

chat.bytemark.co.uk

with your username and password, and you can join
lobby@conference.chat.bytemark.co.uk

to talk to other Bytemark customers and staff.

Order form

As an existing Bytemark customer, you can use your single sign-on details to
speed the order process up for new products.

Forgotten your password?

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can use the control
panel
to ask for a reminder to be sent – as long
as you know a web site or email address hosted with us, we’ll be able to send a
reminder.

“We recently suffered a hosting crisis and turned to Bytemark for help. The staff were cool, calm and collected throughout. They offered a very high level of customer service. and enabled us to switch over 85 domains and 100s of email addresses in a very short space of time.”
