Let us assume the host is on a private VLAN 1.0.0.0/24.

For this setup:

The MAC adresses of the virtual machines are all visible on the lan to the routers.
br0 has eth0, tap1, tap2, tap3 as members, the server doesnt have IP forwarding enabled.
The IP address for the server is attached to br0, but would also work on eth0. br0 is just an L2 bridge.
