Spread the word

This page is intended for partner sites who wish to spread the word about our services. Hopefully we’ve made it as easy as possible, but please respect the guidelines we have laid down to avoid accidentally misrepresenting us.

Linking to our site

If you want to make your link to us explicit, point people at www.bytemark.co.uk/r/yournamehere (replacing ‘yournamehere’ with something unique to you). That way we can more easily identify people coming from your site.

Our name

In all contexts, we are Bytemark.

Definitely not ByteMark or BYTEMARK (if you can avoid it).

Bytemark is a registered trademark in the UK & Ireland.

We’re always happy for you to use our logo to promote our services if you’re hosted with us, we’re sponsoring your show, or there’s some other obvious involvement between us. Otherwise please ask for permission.

Logo usage

Within the Bytemark’s corporate identity guidelines is a section which describes how to use the logo. We recommend reading this first before using the logo in your website or in print.

Company description text

We have created a some descriptive text for you to use which describes who we are and what we do.

Bytemark was founded with a simple mission: reliable, UK hosting. Co-founders Matthew Bloch & Peter Taphouse, both engineers by nature built the business from the ground up.

Today, they lead a team of 30+ staff who operate Bytemark’s own data centre in York, monitor its 10Gbps national network and deliver 24/7 support to clients of all sizes. Brands hosted on Bytemark’s network include the Royal College of Art, data.gov.uk and DVLA Auctions.
